Xdefiant System Requirements
Ubisoft has provided four detailed tiers of system requirements for XDefiant, giving us a look at what you’ll need inside your gaming PC depending on what resolution you’re aiming for. Even though there’s no mention of the best graphics card that money can buy, you’ll still need some powerful hardware to achieve 4K gameplay.
Here are the XDefiant system requirements:
The XDefiant minimum requirements understandably paint a picture of a game that has been in development for some time. While many other competitive shooters also aim low on the specs front, Ubisoft’s entry only requires an Nvidia GTX GPU alongside a quad-core CPU and 8GB of RAM.
As for the XDefiant recommended specs, the bar is raised for the suggested graphics cards, but still without entering the RTX era. a quad-core CPU is also still sufficient for what is expected to be the 1080p, 60fps gameplay tier. The RAM requirement is upped here to 16GB, which remains the case for all subsequent tiers.
If you want to target the XDefiant ultra specs, you still won’t need an elite graphics card by today’s standards, with either the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 or AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT having enough power to target 4K gameplay. You will, however, need to start looking at an eight-core gaming CPU to back up your pixel pusher.
The XDefiant download size currently sits at 35GB, and while an SSD isn’t required, it’s highly recommended by the developers for the best experience. Having one of the best SSDs for gaming will bring down load times getting you into the action faster.
