Throne and Liberty release date

The Throne and Liberty release date was Tuesday, October 1, 2024 across Windows PC, Mac, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series consoles. This followed a delay from the original release date. Throne and Liberty launched into early access at 10am PDT / 1pm EDT / 6pm BST on Thursday, September 26, 2024. An early access pack was required to play ahead of the full launch. The early access schedule was confirmed by NCSoft via X.

In the two days leading up to the early access release date, the Throne and Liberty Siege the Day event took place, the trailer for which you can see above. This event featured teams of streamers going head to head in conquest battles, giving you both the chance to cheer on your favorite team or guild while checking out some of the multiplayer gameplay mechanics you’d be getting into in the following days. The two-minute-46-second trailer above answers the question “what is Throne and Liberty?” as a booming voice over tells us the backstory that leads us to the present day in Solisium. Having been blessed with one of the pieces of the shattered Star of Sylaveth, it’s up to you, and your fellow players who have received the same fate, to work together to save the world.
The original announcement trailer, released back in June 2023, was the first to tell us of the Star of Sylaveth and the threat that looms over Solisium and the wider world. It also gives us a brief look at Throne and Liberty Morphs, a form of travel through which, unlike classic MMO mounts, you yourself shape-shift to gain the appearance and traversal abilities of another creature.
