Silent Hill 2 Bracelet Puzzle Solution

Silent Hill 2 is as much a puzzle game as it is a horror staple, and there are no shortage of brain teasers in Bloober Team’s 2024 remake. In fact, as we discuss in our Silent Hill 2 remake review, there are more puzzles, and longer puzzles, than the original game. One of the new puzzles in Brookhaven hospital involves placing three bracelets on a statue of a hand, so here’s the Silent Hill 2 hand puzzle solution if you’re having a hard time.

How do you complete the Silent Hill 2 bracelet puzzle?

As you can see in the image above, the bracelets need to be placed in the following order, top to bottom: bloodstained bracelet, marked bracelet, filthy bracelet. Then, you must rotate each to display the two numbers on each. The order of the bracelets is determined by the patient numbers, as seen on information sheets available in the director’s office. If you aren’t sure which bracelet you collected from each room, the sheets themselves give you some clues. The filthy bracelet, for example, refers to water being able to soothe the patient, so was found in the swimming pool.
When it comes to the numbers, the clues are marked on the hand statue, quite literally. Match the bracelets to the marks on the statue. As you can see in the image above, three scratches along the top of the first bracelet mark their correct position. The numbers are always 92, 45, 71. Once all three bracelets are in the right place, the hand opens up to allow you to take the key for the director’s storage room. You’re then going to need the three numbers to solve the Director’s room safe puzzle.
If you think Brookhaven hospital, the location of the Silent Hill 2 hand puzzle, is the most gruesome location in the horror game, there’s plenty more scares to come on your way to one of the Silent Hill 2 endings. We’ve also got more guides to help you through the hospital, including the Brookhaven padlock code solution.
