That said, there are enough differences between the two games that you will still need to adapt your playstyle. Sure, the gadgets are the same as they are in Siege but how they interact with the environment – and what they do to the Archæans that stand between you and safety – has changed a little bit. Weapon loadouts are also not the same. While operators like Ela may only choose from an SMG and a shotgun in Siege, she can now also use Zofia’s LMG. Operators in Extraction that are from the same organisation share weapon pools, so FBI operators Pulse and Thermite can use each other’s weapons.

Every operator has unlockable weapons and abilities tied to levels. Locked abilities unlock at level five and unlocks for weapon types trigger at levels three, six, and nine.
These will differ by operator. For example, while Alibi may unlock two primary weapons and a secondary weapon at these levels, Ela only unlocks new primary weapons.
