Legends Of Runeterra Tier List The Best And Worst Champions

It’s not just champion upgrades and abilities that come into play, you’ll also need to think about the Legends of Runeterra region each champion belongs to, with a total of six regions differing in playstyles, all with their own strengths and weaknesses. Your deck can be formed of up to two regions, but that’s not all, you’ll also need to consider keywords on the Legends of Runeterra cards to form your deck.
The best Legends of Runeterra decks take a while to put together and you don’t want all that spent energy to go to waste on decks that fall short. The best decks are all about the Legends of Runeterra champions and ensuring your champion compliments the deck – there’s a lot of trial and error. But, if you need somewhere to start, here’s our Legends of Runeterra tier list for a breakdown of the best and worst champions in the game.

S tier (definitely pick ‘em)

These champions are top shelf cards. They all have really satisfying decks, and offer diverse ways of playing. If you like control decks, Braum is your guy. Prefer ephemeral aggro play? Hecarim is a surefire winner.

Braum Fiora Garen Jinx Kalista Katarina

A tier (pick ‘em)

Not quite S tier, some of the basic champions (before they’ve been upgraded) aren’t quite as good as when they level up. However, with the right plays and cards these champions can certainly take down an S tier deck, especially as champions such as Lucian are quick to upgrade.

Anivia Ashe Ezreal Lucian Lux Shen Vladimir Zed Hecarim

B tier (maybe pick ‘em)

These are by no means bad champions, they just offer less opportunities over A and S tier champions. Draven compliments Katarina with his quick attack, but he’s a support rather than the star of the show.

Teemo Darius Draven Elise Heimerdinger Thresh Yasuo

C tier (don’t pick ‘em)

These are champions that we’ve not been able to utilise yet, that said, the Legends of Runeterra open beta gives us another chance to delve into the card game once more, so it’ll be fun to play around with these champions, potentially pairing Tryndamere with Braum’s control deck.

Karma Tryndamere
