Is Monster Hunter Wilds Down Current Server Status

Monster Hunter Wilds is the most popular installment of Capcom’s flagship RPG series to date, which means an unprecedented server load. Online multiplayer games are particularly prone to outages, and while a stable connection isn’t essential to play through the MH Wilds quests, you won’t be able to join your pals in MH Wilds crossplay and co-op when the servers are down. To help you stay connected, here is the latest news on the Monster Hunter Wilds server status.

Monster Hunter Wilds server status

The Monster Hunter Wilds servers are currently online. While some users are experiencing errors on start-up, this is unrelated to online connectivity. Some console users have reported error code “C1152-TJJ-BCNT – Unable to connect to the server” but this appears to be an issue exclusive to the PSN network that has since been resolved.
We are currently aware of a network error which occurs when hunters fire an SOS flare right at the beginning of a quest. Capcom has confirmed this is due to be resolved in a future update, though the exact date is unknown.
You can also check the official support page and follow the Monster Hunter X (formerly Twitter) account to follow any known issues as they develop.
Thankfully, MH Wilds allows hunters to continue their playthrough in single player, regardless of whether the servers are down for scheduled maintenance or unplanned disruption.
