The main quest is the driving force behind the fantasy game‘s story. It follows Rook and the Veilguard in their pursuit of Solas, as he attempts to tear down the Fade. This central plot is set to take you on an epic journey across Thedas, with plenty of twists in store.

Most main story quests require you to make difficult choices, but the most significant comes in chapter six. You must choose to help Minrathous or Treviso. This decision determines whether you receive the quest for “On Blighted Wings” or “On Deadly Wings,” and has major implications for your faction reputation. We recommend helping Minrathous on your first playthrough.
The point of no return appears during “When Plans Align.” Choosing to continue past this point locks you out of all side quests and sets you on a one-way trajectory to the Dragon Age Veilguard ending. However, you can select “Continue” from the main menu after the credits roll to return to your playthrough just before that point of no return, letting you complete any side quests and experience a different ending.
