Does Palworld Have Shinies

The Palworld release date is finally here, so it’s worth looking into the best Pals in the Palworld starter area at the beginning of the open-world game. Once you start picking up Pals, it won’t be long before you’re filling up your Palworld Paldeck. To find all 100+ Pals in Palworld, you’re going to need to know about every Pal variation first.

Does Palworld have shinies?

Yes, Palworld does have shinies, though they are classed as one of several Palworld variations. Lucky Pals are Palworld’s equivalent to shinies and you can spot them by their sparkling visual effect and the shimmering noise they emit when in close proximity. Lucky Pals are easy to identify since they’re significantly larger as their counterparts and appear in your Palbox with a special shiny symbol to denote their variation. These Pals also have the unique ‘Lucky’ passive skill, which grants them a 15% percentage bonus to Work Speed and Attack. While Lucky Pals are certainly rarer than regular Pals, there’s a higher chance to encounter them than traditional shinies.

Every Palworld Pal variation

Here are all of the Palworld Pal variations:

Alpha Pals: These Pals are much larger than their standard counterparts, yet they can be captured all the same. These enemies are also known as bosses if you stumble on them in the wild. Lucky Pals: What makes Lucky Pals so special is that they have a shiny effect on them, making them stand out compared to every other standard Pal. When brought to your camp they appear much larger. Fusion Pals: By bringing together two compatible creatures using Palworld breeding, you can create a special Fusion Pal.
