Can You Play Dragon S Dogma 2 Offline


With the Dragon’s Dogma 2 release date finally here, brush up on the DD2 system requirements so you’re not caught out when you launch the game. It can be quite taxing on your rig, so make sure you’re set to enjoy Dragon’s Dogma 2 and the story of the Arisen.

Can you play Dragon’s Dogma 2 in offline mode?

Yes, you can play Dragon’s Dogma 2 offline. DD2 will require an internet connection when you first start the game, but for any subsequent launches you can play in offline mode with no problems. If you do want to play Dragon’s Dogma 2 online, you can enjoy browsing and recruiting other players’ DD2 pawns who will join your party, taking experience and riftstones back to the original player that created them.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 multiplayer isn’t something that exists, with Capcom marketing its sequel as a “single-player experience”. So, while you can play alongside your friends’ Pawns, they’ll be controlled by AI just as they are in the main game.
