Black Ops 6 Theater Mode Explained

Theater Mode is back in Black Ops 6, and we’ve got all the details on how it’ll work in this iteration of the hit FPS game series. So, equip your favorite Black Ops 6 camos and prepare to farm footage like you’re farming kills in the Black Ops 6 modes as we guide you through Theater Mode.

Black Ops 6 Theater Mode

Black Ops 6’s Theater Mode is identical feature-wise to Black Ops Cold War’s, so if you played the previous installment in the series you’ll know what you’re in for. The only difference is the function is operating in the new CoD engine, so expect performance improvements and UI tweaks. Please note that Theater Mode isn’t available on last-gen consoles, and saved files are deleted a week after being captured or when a new game update lands. If you’re purposefully hunting for clips, we’d recommend waiting until after a big patch so you know you’ll get the full seven-day cooldown on your recordings.
Here’s the full feature list for Theater Mode:

First, third, and fly-cam perspectives for all players in the match. The playback timeline visualizes eliminations and deaths, so you can quickly scrub to the next one. Fast-forward, rewind, and playback speed controls. Record function.

And that’s all you need to know about the Black Ops 6 Theater Mode. If you’ve yet to clear the game’s story mode, check out the Black Ops 6 length and all the juicy Black Ops 6 campaign rewards you’ll get. While you won’t gather clips from it, the campaign will at least help you warm up your aim before heading into multiplayer.
