This mod also removes the progression gating on certain items, so you can add them to your inventory whenever you want. Of course, it’ll cost you a fair wedge of Zenny to cross off your grocery list, which is where the next mod comes in.
Item cost tweaks
The Item Cost mod (also from Synthlight) fast-tracks your progress to earning a zillion Zenny by setting the buy cost for all shop items to one, and the sell price for even the most menial trash you’ve looted to 99,999. Now, you’ll be able to live the champagne lifestyle you’ve always dreamed of – something that’s very handy for our next mod.
No crafting requirements
Doing exactly what it says on the can, Synthlight’s third entry into our list, No Crafting Requirements, removes the need to go scavenging for materials to juice up your arsenal. As alluded to above, you’ll still need to pay the crafting fee to produce your glistening new gear, but that doesn’t matter considering you are giga-rich now. It should also be noted that this mod doesn’t unlock higher smithy tiers, so you’ll still have some legwork to do.
Stats overlay
If you’re a fiend for min-maxing your DPS rotation or are just keen to have as much information about your target as possible, then the MHWilds Overlay mod from ‘lingsamuel’ is a must-use. Monster Hunter plays to both our power fantasy desires and need to be challenged.
