Simply apply March 7th’s shield to Clara in order to ensure both of their follow-up attacks trigger whenever Clara is hit, and be sure to maintain its uptime. March 7th and Clara are both Preservation characters, so they each share a higher base chance to get hit than other units on different paths as standard – though Clara edges out March 7th thanks to the soft taunt built into the shield. This leaves your support units free to bestow buffs and additional healing with a limited chance of being taken out by enemies.
Given that all incoming damage is soaked up by just two units in this team comp, Bailu becomes absolutely indispensable for keeping both March 7th and Clara on their feet, with the ability to resurrect them if either one takes overwhelming punishment from a fearsome foe. It’s also necessary to supplement the core synergy of this March 7th team comp with a strong buffer. We’ve opted for Tingyun, since she can provide damage buffs as well as a burst of energy replenishment when required, though you can easily switch her out in favor of Asta if you’d prefer to reap the benefit of her speed boost.
