Avowed Quest List All Main And Side Missions

Avowed‘s story spans four regions: Dawnshore, Emerald Stair, Shatterscarp, and Galawain’s Tusks. We’ve listed all the main story quests, side quests, bounties, and treasure maps for each region below. If you really want to sink your teeth into the lore of this chunky RPG, we advise completing them all.

All Avowed main quests

In Avowed, you play as a Godlike – someone blessed by one of Eora’s deities – sent by the emperor of Aedyr as an envoy to the Living Lands, a land plagued by an affliction called the Dreamscourge. Utilizing your Avowed abilities and connection to a mysterious voice in your head, Avowed’s main quests see you traversing the Living Lands to end the Dreamscourge: a task that sees you making some tough decisions, valuable allies, and cutthroat enemies.

The official point of no return for Avowed appears during the ‘Our Dreams Divide Us Still’ quest when you’re about to enter The Garden. Once you enter The Garden, you’re locked out of completing any unfinished side quests or exploring the Living Lands further. It’s worth noting, however, that this isn’t the only main story quest that locks you out of side quests. Undertaking certain main story quests prevents you from completing some unfinished side quests as they change the world.
We found that starting ‘A Path to the Garden’ stops you from finishing all the side quests in Shatterscarp, starting ‘Ancient Soil’ prevents you from completing all the quests in Emerald Stair. Similarly, finding the Steel Garrote during ‘Our Dreams Divide Us Still’ may block you from completing certain side quests in Galawain’s Tusks. Before you start these quests, your companions may hint that you should finish any unfinished tasks before you carry on. We advise completing all the side quests in a region before continuing with the main story.

All Avowed side quests

Each of Avowed’s four regions has optional side quests to complete. These side quests are picked up from NPCs or items scattered throughout the world and are useful for gaining valuable resources and experience, as well as offering more depth to the lore of the Living Lands.

All Avowed companion quests

During your quest to defeat the Dreamscourge, you meet four companions to join you on your journey: Kai, Marius, Yatzli, and Giatta. Kai and Marius are the only companions with specific companion quests that provide an insight into their past, while Giatta and Yatzli’s stories are intertwined with certain main story quests.

Fancy making some quick coin by getting your hands dirty? Then, it’s worth completing all the bounties in each region. Bounties are picked up from bounty notice boards in Thirdborn (Shatterscarp), Paradis (Dawnshore), Fior, and Solace Keep (Galawain’s Tusks). Once you complete the bounty, turn it in to the relevant Bounty master: Aldrich in Paradis, Martella in Fior mes Invérno, or Sulwin in Solace Keep.
