All Black Myth Wukong Spirit Locations

Choosing the correct Spirit is as important as choosing the best Black Myth: Wukong weapons or the best Black Myth: Wukong armor. When timed correctly, they can inflict huge damage and other ailments to foes, giving you the edge in battle. Here are all of the Black Myth: Wukong spirits, the best ones to choose, and where to find them.
The best Spirits in Black Myth: Wukong are:

Wandering Wight

Despite being one of the first Spirits you find in the game, the Wandering Wight is also one of the strongest. Found during the first chapter near the Outside the Forest shrine, when activated the Wandering Wight allows you to unleash a huge headbutt against any enemy in front of you. It also boosts your defense simply for having it equipped.
While the attack’s range is limited directly to the area in front of you, the damage is immense meaning it’s particularly effective against bosses that are in a cooldown period between attacks. The rammed headbutt will also stagger your foe, interrupting their next attack, and leaving them vulnerable so you can get in some extra hits. While it does take slightly longer to charge, being obtained from fighting a boss, it’s worth the wait.

Centipede Guai

You’ll face the Centipede Guai in the Bonevault in the fourth chapter. Defeating it and obtaining its Spirit will allow you to curl into a huge ball and roll around, colliding with foes when activating it. Having it equipped will increase your movement speed.
It’s hugely effective against standard and boss enemies and inflicts notable damage, with the added benefit of longer range as long as the enemy you’re targeting doesn’t move out of the way of your attacks. The Centipede Guai Spirit also has the chance to stagger enemies that it collides with.

Guangmou

The Guangmou Spirit is obtained from beating this mandatory boss fight in a clearing near the Bamboo Grove Snake Trail. Rather than inflicting a single devastating attack, this Spirit summons vipers that will spit poison at enemies dealing damage over time. Even after the vipers have dissipated and the Spirit’s activation effect is over, enemies will continue to receive poison damage.
In addition to this effective attack method, the Guangmou Spirit will increase your poison damage and resistance just from being equipped. At first, the number of snakes you can summon is small but can be upgraded significantly to unleash a poisoned viper army upon your enemies.

Mountain Patroller

Although all of the Spirits we’ve recommended so far have been obtained from bosses, with a high Qi cost for activation, Spirits earned from defeating regular enemies are viable options, too. These Spirits can be infused in the overworld and cost significantly less Qi to activate. The Mountain Patroller, obtained by defeating an infused enemy shortly after your first fight against the Macaque Chief in chapter three, offers a surprisingly effective punch in a moderately-priced package.
Activating the Mountain Patroller Spirit will cause you to jump high into the air and rain down a hail of slashes from the sky, causing damage over a large radius. Any enemy hit with these slashes will take significant damage, and due to the low Qi cost of activation, you can repeatedly rely on it. Having the Mountain Patroller Spirit equipped will increase the critical hit chance of any of your jumping heavy attacks. Other spirits, like the Rat Imperial Guard, shouldn’t be overlooked just because they’re not obtained from defeating bosses.
