Ordinarily, we’d have a test bench up and running with a few different graphics cards to test out, but as we’re all working from home, I can only really feedback how my rig is coping and offer some suggestions for quick and easy performance boosts.
Thankfully many of the woes PC players have reported should now be resolved thanks to Nvidia’s latest drivers. In our case, performance has increased considerably, by an average of 15-20fps in the benchmarking tool, although we’re still witnessing big drops out in the open world.
We find that using Doom Eternal cheat codes is particularly useful for charging back through levels to hoover up any missed collectibles, especially when you combine infinite ammo with the BFG or Doom Eternal Unmakyr.
We’ve been punching through walls finding hidden passages so you don’t have to, so we’ve prepared a full guide on how and where to find all of the Doom Eternal cheat codes. There are a total of 14 cheats to collect throughout the main campaign and they’ll be signposted by the game’s telltale floating question marks.
Royce is even more challenging, as she’s hidden in an underground base. There are limited entrances, she has a personal guard, and finding somewhere to hide the body is even harder. Fortunately, we’ve got a quick and safe path to both of them. A quick thanks to YouTuber MrFreeze2244, whose nigh perfect run is the basis of ours – we’ll embed their walkthrough below.
For this run we suggest you take an accurate silenced pistol, lockpicks, and coins.
The new operator, Aruni, is a hybrid of Castle and Kapkan. She can place indestructible Surya Gates on windows, doors, hatches, and wall panels, which deal 40 damage to any attacker who passes through them. Surya Gates also fry any projectiles that go through them, deactivating the gate for 30 seconds – these can be reactivated after the cooldown by shooting them. It’s a neat way of slowing attackers down, without putting such a significant obstacle in their path that they couldn’t simply run onto site.
The first and obvious thing is that it’s not called Watch Dogs 3, as many of us had expected, it’s called Legion. Why Legion? One of the early gameplay features to be shown off gives us the ability to turn any citizen on the street into a playable character. So there’s a bit of an army of hackers vibe going on and thanks to a recent hands-on with the game, we’ve got plenty more details on what to expect.
If you’re completely new to the series, you don’t need to worry about getting destroyed by experienced players as Vanguard features skill-based matchmaking. This ensures players of equal skill face off against each other, so you shouldn’t run into someone who has prestiged ten times in every Call of Duty game.
A common misconception about FPS games is that you need perfect aim in order to succeed, but that’s far from the truth, especially in the Call of Duty series.
Both of these are Doom Eternal cheat codes, and if you want every one of those in the whole game then you can follow that link for a guide to each one. We’ve also got a couple of unlockable extras that aren’t considered collectibles.
If you’re going back through the game in search of every secret then we’ve already made a Hell on Earth collectibles walkthrough and an Exultia collectibles guide to help you out.
This Fortnite challenge is part of the Cameo vs. Chic missions this week but requires some location-based know-how. It’s not too uncommon for other tasks to ask for something more, like wearing a certain Fortnite skin or using a specific glider. So, this Fortnite challenge should be quick to do. On top of that, all three locations are based in the northeast part of the map, so the shrinking circle shouldn’t be too troublesome.
After creating a new character and playing through the tutorial, you’re then stranded on a sandy beach littered with shipwrecks. However, there are multiple beaches upon which you could find yourself spawning at the start of the game. This means that even though you’ve created a character at the same time as your friends, you could end up miles apart when you spawn in.
Still, distance isn’t too much of a barrier; sprinting across a treacherous map to reunite with your buddies isn’t impossible, even if you run into a grumpy alligator and die once or twice.
Loop Hero is all about carefully balancing your expeditions in order to maximise your loot, without compromising on your ability to take on more challenging foes as you progress to higher loops. There’s a large amount of theorycrafting and experimentation that goes into each run, but if you’d rather not figure these tile combos out for yourself and instead use a comprehensive list of all the Loop Hero combos in the game so far, we’re here to make your looping life a little easier.
Unveiled at the PC Gaming Show at E3 2019, transitioning from the 1.3.6 update to the Terraria: Journey’s End expansion will see its developer reviewing pretty much everything. That includes adding hundreds of items to the many that already exist, new gameplay features, and a harder difficulty level. Even for veterans of the subterranean mysteries of this pixel-perfect sandbox game, there’s going to be plenty more to discover.
In this guide we’re going to be breaking down everything you can expect to see from the new content.
Every Valheim map that is generated has the same basic ingredients – spawning altars for each of the Valheim bosses, and the same assortment of treacherous biomes – but where those features end up, and what the lay of the land looks like, depends on the seed you put in when you start a new world.
Thanks to the viking game’s runaway success, millions of Norse warriors are constantly creating new worlds, and many of them have shared the best Valheim seeds they’ve stumbled upon.
The Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8 release date is less than a week away, so there are only a few days left to complete this season’s battle pass. It’s all kicking in off in Fortnite, as you also need to place warning signs in Fortnite, foil a sabotage attempt, and confront the mole, as the Mothership homes in on Corny Complex.
For this quest, though, you only need to warn three characters about the impending doom – there are a total of 22 Fortnite NPCs that you can warn.
This week also has a whole bunch of legendary challenges, in which players are asked to collect an access card from an IO guard, plant wiretaps, interact with an IO operative’s computer, and mindwipe certain characters before finally going on the hunt for an infiltrator among one of the 19 Fortnite NPCs.
The other epic challenges this week don’t all have such specific requirements, though you will need to visit Coral Cove, Base Camp Golf, and Unremarkable Shack – three locations that aren’t named on the map at a glance.
To complete this challenge, you’ll need to plant three pieces of evidence in either Catty Corner or Flush Factory. You’ll have the right area when you can see a small pile of planks on the ground. While Catty Corner is a named location on the map, the same can’t be said for Flush Factory. Whichever location you opt to try and plant the evidence, you’ll have to get to some very specific parts and plant the evidence, all while avoiding being shot at by other players.
For starters, they don’t need to build houses – the Mongols start with the maximum population size. They get early access to both horsemen and lancers, and all of their buildings can pack up and relocate somewhere new. You don’t want to be sitting passive with this civ – moving around and exploiting the terrain is key, but the Mongols’ affinity for stone will focus your attention around the major sources of this resource on the map.
The changes coming to World’s Edge in Season 10 should heat things up quite a bit as the harvester is set to explode. Players can expect even more lava on World’s Edge, though this is rumoured to only affect four locations on the map. As always, another legend is going to join the game this season, though data miners haven’t worked out which abilities this character has just yet.
Your time in Night City takes you to many weird and wonderful places and to all corners of Cyberpunk’s neon streets teeming with things to do and various characters to interact with. You can track all of these and explore Cyberpunk 2077 districts in your Cyberpunk 2077 map.
To open your map, simply press M and it’ll pop up with all the nearby points of interest, including undiscovered locations. If you want to find out more about the Cyberpunk 2077 map, here’s everything it covers including where to find your apartment, and the locations of quests and missions.
Luckily, we’ve searched for this week’s Fortnite challenge and found the famous gnome on a hill north of the map. You can see a map and the exact location below. If you’re still ranking up your Battle Pass before the Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2 release date, then these challenges are a great way to earn yourself some new Fortnite skins, gliders, or emotes.
Once you know where to go, this Fortnite challenge is quick and easy.
This week’s challenges ask us to craft a weapon using alien nanites, destroy target dummies with IO weapons, deploy scanners in alien biomes, and search for books on explosions. There’s a lot of stuff to find this week, so be sure to check our guides to find everything you need.
To help you finish this final challenge, we will go over all of the alien device locations you can find, as well as what you need to do to activate the countermeasure device.
